Commentary | During the night, Sancho has to do what no one could do for him (here already raising his breeches).
Don Quixote appears covering his nose in reference to the text: "En que ahora más que nunca hueles, y no a ámbar" (20:1). Don Quixote should appear mounted on Rocinante. On the right, Rocinante and Sancho's donkey. In the background, the fulling mills. Drawing and engraving are poor, but acceptable. |
