Commentary | Well-known scene; after eating with the Duke and Duchess, several damsels wash don Quixote's beard, leaving him with his beard soaped for a while.
The most remarkable figure of the whole illustration is the damsel soaping don Quixote's beard; figure of great beauty and carefully-done drawing and engraving. |
