| Commentary | Excellent portrait of don Quixote convalescent, with evident signs of the time passed between the first and the second part; the barber and priest visit him and "halláronle sentado en la cama, vestida una almilla de bayeta verde, con un bonete colorado toledano; y estaba tan seco y amojamado, que no parecĂa sino hecho de carne momia" (1:2).
Drawing and engraving are remarkable. |
