Commentary | Two different scenes in the same plate:
In the foreground, don Quixote and Sancho, falling from his donkey, are attacked by the members of the braying mayors squadron. Lances are multiplied to suggest agitation and a more numerous group. In the background, don Quixote and Sancho running away. Acceptable drawing and engraving. |
