| Commentary | Don Quixote places the barber basin on his head as a helmet (Mambrino's helmet), while Sancho observes him and the barber runs away in the background.
The figures have been partially copied after Coypel (Paris: Surugue, 1724), but Coypel's landscape has been substituted for another with an inn. Acceptable illustration, although the drawing has got some disproportions. |
