Notes | 1 - Same plate by unknown engraver first engraved for Brussels: Mommarte, 1662, which was a bad copy after Savery's illustration (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657).
2 - This illustration, as its own indication refers ("Fol. 331"), appears f.p. 331, but this is chapter 30:1, and the image should be placed in chapter 45:1. In that place, f.p. 537, it is "Don Quixote punishes Sancho". |
