Commentary | Excellent image of Sancho begging for don Quixote's pardon after having doubted again of the Princess Micomicona; "hincándose de rodillas, pidió la mano a su amo; y él se la dio, y, después de habérsela dejado besar, le echó la bendición" (46:1).
Sancho's figure, of great tenderness, is quite remarkable and don Quixote's face and gesture too; drawing and engraving are excellent in the whole print. |
