	Commentary	Two different scenes in the same plate: The first one, in the background through the door: doña Rodríguez visiting don Quixote in his room at night; she holds a candle. The second one: two maidens beat doña Rodríguez's ass; "que la asían de la garganta con dos manos tan fuertemente, que no la dejaban gañir, y que otra persona con mucha presteza, sin hablar palabra, le alzaba las faldas, y con un al parecer chinela, le comenzó á dar tantos azotes que era una compasión" (48: 2). Meanwhile, in the background, don Quixote is also beaten. In Cervantes' text, these two actions do not happen at the same time, but one after the other. Drawing, shading and engraving are quite good; remarkable style.
