Commentary | Well-known scene with the basic characters: don Quixote, knelt and still with his helmet, knighted by the innkeeper, holding a sword and a book; doña Molinera and doña Tolosa, with don Quixote's sword; and the boy with the candle; also a woman at the window and some men.
The figures of doña Tolosa and doña Molinera are resolved as idealized and Romantic images. Acceptable engraving, but poor printing. |
