Commentary | Don Quixote mounted on Rocinante (the innkeeper holds its reins) arrives at the inn.
Two "ladies" ("mujeres del partido" or party girls) try to run away afraid of him, but he calms them down (their faces do not represent fear). In the background, a swineherd blowing a horn; don Quixote confuses him with a dwarf welcoming the knight. |
