Commentary | Well-known scene since Coypel; Johannot has reduced it to three basic characters: Micomicona (Dorotea), kneeling before don Quixote; the knight, indicating her to stand up; and the barber disguised with a beard.
Sancho, the priest and Cardenio have not been represented. Scene with little novelty. |
